    ICSA

The International Council of Securities Association (ICSA), which was established in 1988, brings together trade associations and self-regulatory organizations for the capital market from a broad number of jurisdictions to discuss issues of common concern and, when possible, to develop common views toward those issues.

ICSA’s primary objective is to aid and encourage the sound growth of the international capital market by promoting:
    • International convergence and, where appropriate, mutual recognition of regulations affecting firms active in the national and/or international capital market; and
    • The mutual understanding and exchange of information among ICSA members.
